New GM for PM
27 November 2019Manitex International has appointed Giovanni Tacconi as the general manager for the PM articulated crane business. He will be reporting directly to the recently-appointed CEO of the company Steve Filipov.
In one of his first big public moves with Manitex, Filipov announced this month that the company’s subsidiaries, PM cranes and Oil & Steel platforms, will be run as separate divisions of their US parent.
In his newly-established role, Tacconi will have full-responsibility for sales, service and spare parts, manufacturing, engineering and all commercial operations of their respective operations.
For the last sixteen years, Giovanni Tacconi has been the commercial director of PM Group and Oil & Steel, the aerial work platform manufacturer within the Manitex International group.
Filipov congratulated Tacconi on his appointment and expressed his confidence that in his new roles he will further enhance the performance and results of the business.
