The sun was shining and the cranes were flying flags in the wind for the opening of crane rental provider Maxim Crane’s brand-new office in Wilder, Kentucky.

The $4.71m building is for the expansion of the company’s fast growing operations in the state. 100 new jobs are expected to be created.

Maxim has operated a regional headquarters in Wilder since 1937. It is also where the company bases about 400 cranes for deployment to customers across the Eastern US. Maxim’s growth projections – both organic and through acquisitions – prompted plans to consolidate its operations and regional leadership roles into the area with the construction of a 17,000 sq ft office. The new building will house executive and administrative staff.
