Kelley Equipment Company of Florida has added an eight-axle Terex AC 500-2 all terrain crane and a Terex 5800 Explorer to its fleet.

The AC 500-2 crane will enable the company to work on a larger class of projects, requiring heavier lifting at greater heights.

Russell Johnson, general manager at Kelley Equipment, said that Kelley had opted for the 500-2 due to its ease of operation and ability to work at greater heights and radii. It is due to immediately work on an industrial expansion project in Louisiana.

"The Explorer 5800 is a great addition to our fleet because it has 229ft of main boom and the fact that we can easily travel throughout the state with it," added Johnson.

Kelley Equipment Company was founded in 1984 and works alongside general contractors in the south-east of the US, on projects in the power, industrial, engineering, construction, travel and transportation sectors.

Big in the ATs: Kelley Equipment Company has purchased two Terex all terrains, including an AC 500-2.
