This month’s fleet updates include orders and deliveries of Liebherr, Grove, Demag, Terex, Fassi, Kato, Tadano, Kobelco, Potain, Zoomlion and Spierings.

Mammoet has placed an order for 14 Demag and Terex cranes. It comprises ten Demag all terrain cranes including an AC 500-8 crane, three Terex MAC 25-4 pick and carry cranes and a Demag CC 3800-1 crawler crane.

A Demag AC 160-5 all terrain crane has been added to the fleet of crane specialist Mayer Autokran-Vermietung from Burgberg in the German Allgäu region.

Japanese company Aoki Juki has placed an order for a new Demag AC 700-9 all terrain crane. To meet Japanese regulations, Terex Cranes modified the existing AC 700-9 into an 8 axle chassis with quick assembly/disassembly of boom and superstructure.

UK-based Emerson Crane Hire has ordered six mobile cranes from Liebherr with a total value of €6.6m. An LTM 1200-5.1 has recently been delivered. Five brand new mobile cranes - an LTM 1060-3.1, an LTM 1130-5.1, two LTM 1160-5.2s and an LTM 1450-8.1 – will be delivered over the next 18 months with the order due to be completed by early 2019.

Fellow UK company Select Plant Hire made a significant investment in Liebherr cranes with purchases of two LTR 1060 telescopic crawler cranes and two lattice boom crawler cranes: an LR 1160 and an LR 1300.

Sarens purchased two new Liebherr cranes, the 750t LG 1750 SX and the 450t LTM 1450-8.1. The LG 1750 SX was recently delivered to Australia, where it has started work on the Sapphire wind turbine installation project for Vestas. The new LTM 1450- 8.1, also new to the Australian fleet, will soon be deployed on a project for Carcon.

The ALL Family of Companies will take delivery of two 500USt Liebherr LTM 1450-8.1 all-terrain cranes.

Steve Foster Cranes, based in Derbyshire, UK, has recently purchased, a Liebherr LTM 1030-2.1 mobile crane and an LTM 1060-3.1.

Liebherr has supplied an MK 88 mobile construction crane to Dutch crane contractor Barneveldse Kraanverhuur (BKV).

John Sutch Cranes is investing £3.7m into new fleet and machinery. Among the equipment ordered is a six-axle Spierings, a 250t Terex crane, 300t Liebherr and a 70t Tadano.

Stuttgart-based contracting company Schaak Kran & Transporte has taken delivery of a new Grove GMK5150L.  

The ALL Family of Companies has made its inaugural sale as an authorized Kobelco dealer. Kelley Steel Erectors purchased a Kobelco CK800G-2 crawler crane from ALL and took delivery of the machine during a December 21 key ceremony at the ALL crane yard in Cleveland.

Crane Link delivered a new Zoomlion QY25V Crane to Euro Engineering in Swaziland, adding to an existing fleet of truck cranes.

Tongaat Hulett in Xinavane, Mozambique, took delivery of the new Zoomlion RT60, 60t rough terrain crane.

Aurachron, based in South Africa, took delivery of a new Zoomlion QY30Vf532 truck crane.

Savage Cranes has taken delivery of a new Kato CR-200Ri City Crane from European Kato distributor Rivertek Services.

France’s tower crane rental company LOGA is expanding its fleet with the addition of seven new Terex CTT 132-6 flat top tower cranes.

NFT has supplied a number of high capacity four Potain MD 1100 and two Potain MD 550 to construction giant Combined Group Contracting (CGC).  The company also supplied a Potain Igo T 130 and a Potain Igo 50 to Nasser Al Hajri & Partners Company.

Fassi’s Australian distributor, 600 Cranes Australasia Pty, installed an F485RA.2.28 xe-dynamic loader crane onto a Freightliner truck for a major crane hire company, the Cosmo Cranes Group.

Transgrúas Cial delivers the first F1150RA model in Spain, a Fassi F1150RA.2.28 xhe-dynamic loader crane, to the company Transportes Francín.

Fassi’s Peruvian distributor, ImerPeru, has supplied Corporación Yanflo, a company principally dedicated to the hire of hoisting equipment, with the largest truck-mounted loader crane in Peru, an F1300RA.2.26 he-dynamic model.
