Palfinger announced the world premiere of its PK 110002 SH hydraulic crane this month.

With a lifting moment of 98.5tm, it's the largest crane of the SH range from the Austrian manufacturer.

Customers will be able to see the PK 110002 SH for the first time this month at the IIA international Motor Show on September 20-27, 2012 in Hanover, Germany.

Billed for universal use, the crane being launched can be used for applications such as moving heavy machinery in restricted spaces, boat loading and precision installations.

The PK 110002 SH has a hydraulic outreach of 22m using 9 hydraulic extensions and up to 32.5m in when used with the fly-jib.

The PK 110002 SH is offered with radio remote control and LCD display.

Palfinger said a system of sensors allows variable stabilizer positioning and increases flexibility of use for users of the crane.

Standard hydraulic stabilizers on the PK 110002 SH can be pivoted upwards to make it easier to stabilize the vehicle in confined spaces, the company said.

The hydraulic oil tank integrated into the base frame also saves space.

Palfinger's soft stop function brings about slow braking before the mechanical end stop is reached, reducing load collisions due to swinging loads.

The base of the PK 110002 SH is integrated directly into the vehicle's subframe to increase both stability and the range of applications.

A dual power system allows a large outreach under heavy loads and the two slewing drives allow high outreach, precision and high slewing torque.
