Global Crane Sales announced that it delivered the first 15 Zoomlion rough terrains to international hire firm Sarens.

Global Crane Sales agreed the contract for the sale of 20 cranes in April, 2012 at Intermat in Paris, where it was an exhibitor.

The dealer is the exclusive international distributor for Zoomlion rough terrains, and its North American distributor for crawler cranes.

Sarens and Global had an existing relationship: the firm bought 10 Zoomlion RT55 cranes a year prior to the purchase.
North Africa is the destination for the 20 cranes.

They are split into two capacity models: 10 RT35 cranes, and 10 RT55 cranes.

The RT35, has a 35t (40USt) lifting capacity and a 31m (102ft) boom.

Zoomlion engineered the RT55, with a 55t (60USt) lifting capacity, to have maximum capacity at radius for its weight.

The remaining five RT35s are scheduled for delivery in September 2012.
