Pre-fabricated, low-energy houses are being constructed in the Netherlands using a Sennebogen 673 telecrawler, provided by crane company Meijmat.

Meijmat, a family-owned company specializing in crane rental and contruction of pre-fabricated concrete structural elements, recently added the telecrawler to its portfolio, and is now assisting the VolkerWessels Group with the housing development in Leeuwarden.

Using the 'MorgenWonen', or 'House of Tomorrow' concept, the houses are constructed within one day.

The Sennebogen 673 can be operated at an incline of up to 4 degrees, and can also move with a load on the hook, both of which provide an advantage when handling heavy building elements, says Sennebogen.

The crane was delivered to Meijmat by Sennebogen's Dutch sales and service partner Kuiken NV.
