Tadano Mantis has introduced a 35USt telescopic boom crawler, an addition to its GTC Series.

The new machine has a 35USt capacity at 10ft radius, and a “level” ground load chart that allows for operation on slopes of up to 1.5°. The load charts offer full chart pick-and-carry capacity through 360°.

The three-section full power boom allows continuous telescoping with load to the maximum extended length of 89ft 3in.

“The boom is purpose designed for the GTC series crane and manufactured by Tadano Japan to give high lifting capacities as well as be suited for heavy duty work such as foundation, pick-and-carry, and work on slopes up to 4°,” said Tadano.

The long main boom is complimented with a 23ft 6in – 42ft extendible jib that offsets at 5°, 25°, or 45° for a maximum tip height of 135ft 9in. Load charts for jib operation allow for lifting on slopes up to 2.5°.

The standard configuration of the crane has compact dimensions of 10ft 9in wide x 43ft 1in length x 8ft 2in height.

Tadano’s new crane features the Opti-Width track positioning system, Cummins Tier 4f QSB4.5 diesel engine and telematics.
