Tadano reports sales growth
5 May 2020Tadano sales revenue for its fiscal year 2019, the twelve months ended March 31, stood at ¥227.9bn ($2.1bn), up ¥39.5bn year-on-year. Over the same period gross profit increased by ¥6.1bn to ¥57.1bn.
Sales of mobile cranes generated ¥150.8bn, accounting for nearly two-thirds (66.2%) of the company’s total revenue. Compared to the previous fiscal year, the revenue from sales of mobile cranes increased by 28.3%.
Mobile crane sales in Japan increased by 13.2% to ¥47.8bn, while outside Japan they surged by 36.8% to ¥103bn.
Sales of truck loader cranes stood at ¥22.2bn, up 7.2% year-on-year.
