UK rental company ABA Crane Hire has a number of Liebherr cranes in its fleet but has recently purchased its Stage V emissions compliant LTM 1110-5.1 all terrain crane.

This five-axle machine has a maximum capacity of 110t and a 60m long telescopic boom. In the UK, the crane is able to carry all of its 29t of counterweight and remain under UK STGO regulations.

ABA Crane Hire’s new LTM 1110-5.1 has a 19m double fly jib with full remote control capabilities. The crane can be optionally specified with two 7m inserts to take the maximum lifting height to 91m.

“We are excited to be expanding our fleet with the first Liebherr LTM 1110-5.1 in the UK. We were really impressed with this crane when it was released at Bauma in 2019, especially with it being able to travel on UK roads complete with its full 29t counterweight,” said Adrian Baggott, managing director of ABA Crane Hire.

“It’s superb lifting capacities along with its 60m boom made it the right decision for our business. After the success of the Liebherr MK88 and the positive feedback from not only the operator but also our client base, we look forward to continuing our business relationship with Liebherr.”

ABA operates a fleet of city cranes, mobile cranes and self-erecting tower cranes with capacities of up to 160t.
