A Pennsylvania-based XCMG customer has put an XCA300U all-terrain crane to work at a number of projects in the state.

In the borough of McDonald, the XCA300U was used for the installation of a natural gas tank, while in Waynesburg it lifted concrete blocks in preparatory work for the construction of a bridge.

This machine has a six-axle, seven-section boom reaching 80m (262.5ft) fully extended.

The XCA300U, tailored for the North American market, features: chassis made out of DOT-certified parts and America-made components; high-powered multimodal steering system, integrated brake management techniques and long-stroke hydro-pneumatic suspension technology; MMI system; vehicle-mounted sliding dollies; H-shaped outrigger structure; self-removable counterweights and G-1 intelligent booms.

It is also compliant with the Tier-4F emission standards.
