Bigge crane & Rigging hoisted a pair of 24.5t signs over a 17-storey office block in San Jose, USA. The hoardings could not be set on top of the building because of airspace restrictions near San Jose airport. Instead they were cantilevered more than 3m out from the building’s facade.
Bigge used a Manitowoc 2250 Series III crawler crane with 79.2m (260ft) of boom and 18.3m (60ft) of jib, to hoist the two signs onto the Knight Ridder building.
