The National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (CCO) has received a further $40,000 in donations from manufacturers. Grove, Link-Belt and Manitowoc have each pledged $10,000, as has the Construction Industry Manufacturers Assoc-iation. Grove, Link-Belt and Manitowoc have now given more than $130,000 between them to support the crane operator certification initiative. CCO has also streamlined its examination procedure and decreased the number of candidates needed for a test administration from 25 to 15.
