“We see enormous potential in the wind industry in the coming years and want to grow together with our customers,” says Tomáš Kepič, Managing Director of AG Transport. “This investment strengthens our operational capability and emphasises our claim to be a reliable partner for complex lifting projects.”
With the new crane, AG Transport is adding an even more flexible and powerful model to its fleet. The crawler crane is ideal for use on modern wind turbines – including projects throughout Europe. The previous projects that AG Transport has realised with its first LR 1800-1.0 have already given the Czech family-owned company a strong market presence in Central Europe – the new crane with the X3A boom system is now set to further expand this position.
“For us, it’s never just about the machine – it’s about people, trust and joint development. That’s why we see Liebherr not just as a supplier, but as a true partner. Our latest investment is a further step in our long-term collaboration,” says Kepič. With a total of 18 Liebherr machines, from 40-tonne to 800-tonne mobile cranes and two crawler cranes, the fleet is broadly positioned – ready for new challenges in the growing world of renewable energies.
