A fleet of Grove TMC250E truck-mounted cranes is being deployed on major energy and infrastructure projects across Kuwait after being purchased by local lifting specialist Aldali International.
The cranes are being used on oil and gas and construction projects, where they are carrying out daily lifting operations including the handling of construction materials, heavy equipment, generators, steel structures and piping.
The fleet was supplied by Grove dealer RIHAM General Trading, which also commissioned the cranes and is providing aftersales support, including parts and service backed by Manitowoc’s customer support network.
Dr Ashraf Hassan Nage Hassan, managing director of Aldali International, said the company selected the cranes for their combination of mobility and productivity.
“The Grove TMC250E cranes are fast, efficient and mobile, which makes them well suited to our requirements,” he said. “Operating this fleet allows us to maintain crane availability across multiple sites while delivering safe and efficient operations.”
Aldali International provides industrial and logistics support services for Kuwait’s oil and gas industry and government-backed infrastructure projects. The company said it has invested in the new fleet to meet increasing demand while maintaining equipment availability through its in-house maintenance capabilities.
The Grove TMC250E is fitted with a five-section 41 m main boom and an 8 m jib. Power comes from a Cummins Dongfeng ISLe285 engine paired with a FAST nine-speed transmission, giving the crane a maximum road speed of 80 km/h and gradeability of up to 40% for travelling between job sites.
