French lifting and transportation company Cantiniau has taken delivery of a Tadano AC 4.080-1 all-terrain crane, broadening its fleet of lifting and material handling equipment.
The handover took place at the JDL Expo 2026 trade show, hosted at the Palais des Congrès in Beaune, France.
The new crane was presented to Cantiniau by Frédéric Valentin, sales manager at Tadano France, during the event.
It features four axles and compact dimensions, offering job site accessibility and the ability to carry up to 9.3t of counterweight and a swing-away jib, while maintaining an axle load of less than 12t.
Its 60m main boom, high lifting performance at varied boom angles, and IC-1 Plus intelligent control system have been highlighted by the company as aiding cost-effective operations and potentially reducing the need for extra counterweight transport.
Cantiniau president Julien Cantiniau said: “The AC 4.080-1 crane combines reach, compact dimensions, and on-road manoeuvrability, all of which are particularly important for our day-to-day work.”
Cantiniau will also receive Tadano’s e-Pack system as part of a leasing arrangement. This electro-hydraulic unit, which connects to an external power supply, is designed to enable quiet, emission-free crane operation for indoor, urban, or night-time use.
Tadano France managing director Jean-Marie Grossmann said: “We would like to thank Julie and Julien Cantiniau, as well as the entire Cantiniau team, for their continued trust and for showcasing their new crane equipped with our e-Pack here at our booth, allowing visitors to see how the AC 4.080-1’s transport efficiency can be combined with quiet, emission-free operation.”
The addition of the AC 4.080-1 marks a further step in Cantiniau’s investment in expanding its capabilities for a range of lifting operations.
Recently, Gradito Oleodinamica, an industrial contractor specialising in heavy lifting, received a Tadano AC 5.250L-2 all-terrain crane.
