Mannesmann Dematic has launched two new models to add to the DH range of wire rope hoists. The DH 400 and DH 600 have safe working loads of 10t and 16t respectively.
Both versions are based on a sliding taper rotor motor with integrated conical brake which is designed to offer a higher starting frequency and failsafe breaking in the event of a power loss. Also available is a range of mechanical creep speeds that can be used for precise load control. There is also the option of variable speed control via a frequency inverter.
Both hoists are compatible with a wide range of power, control and mounting options including DC, slip-ring and explosion proof motors. There are also options for foot, monorail or cab mounting. The hoists can be controlled with the Dematic IR infra-red or RC 10 control systems and give the option of either mechanical or electronic load control.
