The new directors on its Executive Board are a new CFO, managing director of Asia, and managing director of North America.
Chosen to help the company expand in South America, Chris Dugan is managing Director of Bridon American Corporation (BAC).
A former US Navy Seal, Dugan was previously General Manager of Cooper Interconnect, a supplier of electrical products to the industrial, mining, and oil and gas sectors where he managed global sales and oversaw six factories in the USA and Mexico.
The company’s new managing director for Asia is Ivan Ng.
Ng was previously General Manager of United Technologies company, which owns Sundyne Asia, a manufacturer of pumps and compressors for the fluid and process industries.
Ng was also BD director at Reynolds Metals and general manager in Schott Asia
Bridon’s new CFO Graham Hardcastle was previously Smith and Nephew’s CFO of Global Operations, having spent 5 years as the Finance Director of Smiths’ Specialty Engineering Division and 2 years as the Finance Director of its Medical Division. He trained as an accountant at Arthur Young.
The new state of the art factory in Newcastle, UK, will produce the largest and most complex ropes in the world, Bridon says.
It also plans to open a Technology Centre in Doncaster later this year that will significantly enhance its testing and New Product Development capabilities.
