The four speakers announced today represent a range of perspectives, demonstrating Cranes Today’s commitment to put on an event that truly meets the needs of Asian and Australian crane users, dealers and manufacturers.
During the safety session, Michael George Hoyle, a rigging and lifting SHE consultant working with Exxon-Mobil in Singapore will look at the problem of working safely at height while rigging and derigging heavy crawler cranes. In the same session, John Wilson, a Singaporean Ministry of Manpower authorised examiner will discuss crane regulation and crane inspection practices in Singapore.
The geographical range of the event goes much further than Singapore. In the applications session, Paolo Cremonini, COO of Fagioli, will be presenting a case study of a new lifting method, used for the first time on a steel mill plant in Shanghai. In the safety session, Stephen Lazenby, director of the Crane Industry Council of Australia will discuss the development of the country’s voluntary CraneSafe crane examination and certification scheme and present some of the valuable data generated as a result of the thousands of annual crane inspected under the scheme.
