Gano’s Heavy Hauling of New Jersey, USA used a 1988 Rogers 100 US ton trailer to move a 97 ton transformer for a utility company. The trailer has a detachable rear frame, an I-beam (rail) deck and a dropside deck. The dropside deck was used for the 113km journey to move the transformer for the scheduled changeout project. Proper blocking of the load prevented deck deformation and shimming the detachable rear frame joint balanced axle loadings.
