Offering class lift-capacities ranging 130t to 250t, the five-axle models are the most compact in their class, and standard all-wheel steering allows operators to quickly maneuver the carrier into tight spaces, the company says. The cranes in this family can also be configured to comply with the axle weight limits applicable in North America.

Features such as the IC-1 Plus control system, which enables lift capacity based on slewing angle and asymmetrical outrigger positioning, give customers the flexibility to lift heavy loads with less counterweight, reducing operating costs.

Among the Terex cranes on display will be the new SK Series hammerhead tower crane. “They’re well-suited for heavy lifting and placement duties on the most challenging jobsites,” the company says. “And they can also help you save time on other jobsite duties by easily moving materials from one area to another.”

Features of the SK series include an easy maintenance access and built-in safety features to keep downtime to a minimum; as well as ergonomic cabs to provide the comfort required for long hours on the job.

The SK series has cranes with a maximum capacity from 16 to 32t and jib lengths up to 80m.

The RT 100US is the American version of the same model showed at Bauma in Germany last year. This rough terrain has a lifting capacity of 100 USt with a maximum boom length of 47m and maximum gradeability of 76%.

The RT 100US has been designed to ensure versatility thanks to three boom modes and two-part folding jib. Its features also include a compact design to offer an easy transport; an ergonomic and comfortable cabin; two engines are available with Tier III and Tier IV final. The RT 100US can be easily operated via IC-1 control system and electro-proportional joysticks.

“Safety first thanks to an easy access to cab and carrier deck, no obstacles on top deck,” the company says.

“What’s more, four steering modes provide excellent maneuverability.”

In addition to the equipment, the Terex gold lot G3382 will feature a Terex Cranes customer support solutions center. “Customer support representatives will be on hand to discuss the right crane solutions for the customer’s specific needs and the best after-sales support packages, backed by an extensive network of factory trained technicians,” the company says. “North American customers will also learn more about the successful consolidation of all North American crane equipment manufacturing – boom trucks and truck, rough terrain and the HC Series crawler cranes – into the Terex Oklahoma City facility, which helps to improve our customer responsiveness.”
