The 8th Beijing International Construction Machinery Exhibition & Seminar (8th BICES) is claimed to be the biggest exhibition of construction machinery held in China.
The venue of the latest BICES show has shifted to the Beijing Jingkai Convention & Exhibition Center. Compared with the last show in 2003 the exhibition area has been increased with outdoor space of 70,000 sq m and indoor halls covering 20,000 sq m.
Domestic exhibitors will include Chinese giant XCMG; Puyuan, maker of the country’s largest telescopic crane; and Beijing Crane Works, which recently opened a factory with Tadano.
The 8th BICES has, says its organiser – the China National Construction Machinery Corporation – received more support from foreign manufacturer associations of construction machinery as well as more end-users associations than ever before.
National organisations supporting the event include including JCMA (Japan), FFTA (Finland), CEA (UK), ICE (Italy), GI & C (Germany), KOCEMA and S & T (Korea), ANMOPYC (Spain), SOBRATEMA (Brazil), TCAUHM (Thailand), CEMS (Singapore), and Negus Expo International (Russia).
More than 600 exhibitors from 21 countries worldwide will participate in the show.
