Effer 1750

The Italian firm claims its 1750 J-power is probably the tallest articulating crane at Bauma. With 14 boom sections, it has a maximum height of more than 40m. It has a ten-sided, or decagonal, boom profile. The crane is installed behind the cabin of a four-axle Scania truck (4.5m wheelbase, Model CV P340 LB8x2). The total vehicle length is 9.2m. A service deck of 2m allows it to carry 1.6t of additional equipment. It can also pull a trailer. There are six stabilisers.

Effer 145.11.3S

The 13tm 145.11.3S crane comes with four different boom combinations: two link rod connections, and a standard or short boom. The 30-3S is intended for trucks limited to gross vehicle weights lower than 3.5t. Also on show is the 850.

The crane manufacturer is showing two more cranes on the stand of parent company CTE, stand F11 1103/3. The 55tm model 585 has a second boom whose angle extends 190 degrees. It fits three-axle trucks (up to 26t gvw). Maximum horizontal outreach is 23m with up to nine hydraulically-extended sections. The crane shown has a feature that allows the fly-jib and winch to remain mounted on the crane when it is folded into transport position. The Wind & Drive device removes the need to guide the winch line through the pulleys. The 16tm 165.11.3S crane has a new knuckle boom with 195 degree opening angle. It is intended for general cargo trucks.
