Measuring 18ft in diameter the bucket was grabbed by the three Liebherr all terrain cranes: the LTM 1500-8.1, LTM 1400-7.1 and LTM 1350-6.1, which raised and swung it into vertical position, loading it on to a heavy-duty crawler. Specially designed slings then tilted the load.
Breuer & Wasel has 17 cranes operating as base-load units permanently on site. Among them are the two telescopic Liebherr LTR 1100 crawler cranes and LTR 1060, these are mainly used in revisions of the giant excavators.
