Haulotte’s Isabelle Laplume told Cranes Today that her company was in the process of ending a 2003/4 joint venture with Italian company Faresin to make telehandlers, and that the new
Spanish factory could make telehandlers in the future.

Haulotte Group, which employs more than 1,000 people, currently has three factories in France and 18 subsidiaries throughout the world. It offers a range of eight telescopic handlers from 3t to 4t lifting capacity and 7m to 16.5m lifting height.

First quarter sales at the company rose 31% to Euro105.3 million compared with the same period a year earlier.
