It works according the swash plate principle where the delivery flow can be varied easily and quickly by the angle of the swash plate. The design of this pump type provides a good performance/weight ratio. Its small dimensions and weight (maximum 28 kg for the largest size) makes it easy to mount it directly at the auxiliary drive of commercial vehicles. The nominal pressure for continuous operation is 350 bar and the maximum pressure 400 bar. A maximum geometric displacement of 60 to 110 cu cm/rev can be offered in three models. It is designed for direct mounting at the auxiliary drive of commercial vehicles as well as for standard mounting via a SAE-C flange.

There is also an option of through-shaft for auxiliary pumps of various design. The range of state-of-the-art pump controllers such as power controllers, load-sensing controllers, pressure controllers and electro-hydraulic proportional controls turns this pump into a compact pressure supply.

The latest development is the electro-hydraulic proportional delivery flow adjustment for all pump sizes. Integrated power controller and pressure limitation are standard. A proportional pressure limitation is available as an option. The proportional flow adjustment has a small hysteresis and good linearity, Hawe says. A directly mounted load-sensing controller with pressure limitation makes it possible to optimise the dynamic characteristics of the control system. A matched hydraulic system for many mobile machines can be created with the proportional directional spool valve type PSV, over-center valves, sensors and electronic control from the modular design system of HAWE Hydraulik.
