HSC says the new model meets the requirements of customers in Europe with new safety and performance features.
Some of the features of the new SCX1500A-3 include an Isuzu engine that complies with Stage IIIB emission regulations, and an auto idle stop function which prevents fuel wastage.
The winch of the crane has a new environmentally friendly design, which contributes to its economical operation. The width of this model is now 2.99m, allowing for easier, cheaper transportation. The swing cab design of the crane has been adapted to increase the boom foot width ensuring reliable operation and mobility. In addition, the assembly and disassembly time of the crane has been reduced by the use of a live mast, quick draw and self-removing counterweight.
A new powerful winch design, with 12t line pull, offers enhanced hoisting and braking performance. The design of the boom is wider, boosting reliability.
Safety features include an alarm warning system and auto-drum lock, a swing limitation device and brake pedal, and folding handrails.
The large display panel in the cab presents all of the crane’s necessary information at a glance in a functional, easy-to-view layout, without hindering the operator’s forward visibility.
