A boom speed slowdown function is available just before automatic stopping of the boom at both upper and lower limits of the boom angle, to prevent a shock, even when the control lever is set at hoisting or lowering position. An additional limit switch on the boom backstops provides redundant boom protection.

The front, rear and optional third winch drum use a multiple wet-disc brake, and a forced oil cooling system to sustain brake performance. This system requires no maintenance, unlike a conventional drum brake with linings.

The SCX800HD-2 heavy duty crawler features a 9.5m–54.5m boom, and can be configured with 42.5m boom and 18m jib. The crane can lift 80t at 3.4m, and is powered by an Isuzu 6HK1X engine, with a rated output of 212kw.

The SCX1200-2 crawler lift crane has a maximum capacity of 120t at 4.5m, with a boom length of 15m–72m. It can be fitted with boom and jib configurations of 60m + 28m, or 63m + 22m. It is also powered by an Isuzu 6HK1X engine.

The SCX2800–2 lift crane/luffing tower crane has a maximum capacity of 275t at 4.3m in the lift configuration, or 80t at 9.3m in the luffing set-up.
