Crane operations commenced in August 1997, and Tutt Bryant Crane Hire has rapidly grown to be one of themajor crane hirers in Australia. In December 2005 Tutt Bryant Group Limitedwas listed on the Australian Stock Exchange.

The fleet currently contains 84 crawler cranes, the majority of which are Hitachi Sumitomo models, with capacities ranging from 50t up to 650t. There are two exceptions to this with a Terex CC2800-1 (600t) and a Kobelco SL6000 (550t). There are over 40 additional all terrain, rough terrain, truck and Franna cranes.

The fleet has continually evolved over 12 years of operation and the company continues to actively buy cranes of above 200t capacity. The fleet has one of the youngest age profiles in the industry and an aggressive programme is run to ensure this market position is maintained.

The crane fleet is deployed mainly to the mining, resources, oil and gas, construction and power generation projects.

Projects that Tutt Bryant Crane Hire has worked on includeWoodside Train IV developments in the NorthWest, the Alice Springs to Darwin Railway, the Southern Star ObservationWheel in Melbourne, Spencer St Station Melbourne redevelopment, Perth Southern rail line, Dampier Port upgrade, Gold Coast freeway, Sydney desalination plant, Port Botany port expansion in Sydney and the Chatswood to Parramatta rail link. There are branches throughout Australia, including Melbourne, Muswellbrook, Karratha, Perth, Brisbane and Darwin.

Other lifting systems and services include up to 1,100t capacity gantry systems, beam sets, jacking and skating equipment. In addition there are over 350 lines of platform trailers which include self-propelled units. There is wide variety of low loaders and semi trailers with heavy duty prime movers.

The trucks, trailers, gantry system and cranes allow the Tutt Bryant Group to provide a one-stop lift-and-shift service offering. Tutt Bryant Crane Hire is also able to provide lift studies and heavy haulage analysis utilising the latest CAD design software.
