This crane features Link-Belt’s five-section, 42.7m (140ft) formed boom. It has a boom latching and locking system. Each boom section extends independently using one double-acting, single-stage hydraulic cylinder with integrated holding valves. Teflon wear pucks self-lubricate the boom sections. Maximum tip height is 72.2m (237ft) with two 4.9m (16ft) lattice inserts between the boom head and the optional 10.7m–17.7m (35ft–58ft), bi-folding lattice. All attachment combinations have offset positions of 2°, 15°, 30°, and 45°.

The standard modular-style counterweight package is 5,216kg (11,500lbs). Optional 12,020kg (26,500lb), 14,742kg (32,500lb), and 17,917kg (39,500lb) packages further extend the crane’s lift performance. The operator can raise and lower the counterweights from the comfort of the cab. Maximum lifting capacity is 81,648kg (180,000lbs) with 14,742kg (32,500lbs) of counterweight.

Power is from a 332kW (445hp) engine with 1,966J (1,450ft-lbs) of torque, delivered by a ZF AS-tronic automated transmission with 12 forward and two reverse speeds.
