Højbjerg Maskinfabrik (HMF) will unveil the HMF 2820 Series, a 28tm loader with eight hydraulic extensions which reaches 21.2m with a corresponding lifting capacity of 575kg. With two manual extensions, the out-reach is increased to almost 26m.

The HMF 2820 series is the HDL (heavy duty lifting) version of the 2500 series. With the HDL system, the lifting capacity is increased by more than 10%. When equipped with a fly jib and manual extensions, the HMF 2820 series reaches 28.2m with a lifting capacity of more than 250kg.

It comes equipped with RCL 5200, a new HMF safety system which constantly monitors the loader’s conditions as regards to load moment, operation and function.

HMF is also formally launching its 400 series of truck loaders, a 4tm little brother to the 5tm 500 series and the 6tm 680 series. The manufacturer says that the 400 is the world’s first in this range to have four hydraulic extensions. It reaches 9.5m and lifts 325kg. With manual extensions it reaches 11m where it picks 265kg. The 400 is fitted with the RCL 5100 safe load monitor in EU countries.

Palfinger is showing a pair of new heavy lifters: the PK 48000 and the PK 54000, both in the 50tm class with a hydraulic outreach of 20.5m and extending to 25.3m with manual boom extensions. They feature Palfinger’s Power Link System, a double linkage system which increases lifting capacity by 70%, it is claimed.

Palfinger’s medium to high performance cranes enjoy good market share. Keen to replicate this in the small crane range, it is also promoting at Bauma its small telescopic PC cranes and the new PK range below 5tm.

Among the equipment being exhibited by Atlas Weyhausen is its latest loader, the 170.1, which has a 17tm load moment. It comes in two versions: a folding crane with an outreach of 16.7m, designed for universal use load-handling; and a V crane with an outreach of 10.9m, designed for the building materials trade. Both are hydraulically controlled.

Autogru PM is showing its models PM 2522, 6522 and, complete with hydraulic jib, the PM 10024. Also on show is a PM 36026 with winch and remote controls.
