The PK 200002 L-SH aims to close the gap between knuckleboom and mobile cranes through its compact geometry and greater lifting capacity. Palfinger says users can expect high working speeds with double circuit control and high-speed extensions. The new crane also comes with the the latest-SH control system.

The new PK 200002 L-SH is additionally equipped with the Power Link Plus 15° on crane and 25° Power Link on jib. It has a maximum lifting capacity of 88,200 lbs. The hydraulic outreach with flyjib is 157′ 3". The PK 200002 also has what Palfinger describe as a maintenance free boom system in a new P-profile shape. Other aspects of the crane are the high performance stability control (HPSC), active oscillation suppression (AOS), soft-stop functions, geometry control, Paltronic 150, super high power lifting system (S-HPLS) and LEDwarning lights at the stabilizer rams.

The PK200002 will be shown mounted on a Western Star chassis.

Greg Sneek, Palfinger North America’s product manager Articulating Cranes, said: "Palfinger has answered the call for superior outreach by developing a long boom concept for the PK 200002 L-SH — the distinguishing feature of this model. A key highlight is shown through a completely new and exclusive boom profile system, engineered by Palfinger to make the boom lighter, stiffer and stronger." The Palfinger North America Group has several manufacturing locations and wholly owned distribution locations as well as a staff of more 1,100 employees.
