The 25t model has a 25.5m boom and optional 6m fly jib; the larger unit has a 38m boom and 8m optional fly jib. Both have an optional second winch for whip line or helping open a concrete bucket.

Although previous versions were modifications of the Sherpa, a tele crawler manufactured by Italian firm Marchetti, both of these models are manufactured in China. The larger model is manufactured and co-developed by Fushun Excavator Corp; the smaller by a small manufacturer whose name was not disclosed.

The cranes can be towed to site on a rented low-body trailer, unlike lattice-boom crawler cranes that require their own expensive trucks.

The crawlers have hydraulically-extending undercarriage to increase their footprint. The 25t model has a transport width of 3m; the 55-tonner 3.3m.

Cranebusiness has sold two units of the 25t to UK crawler rental company NRC Plant, which will become its UK distributor.
