First, telescopic crawler cranes continue to be popular. Dutch dealer Cranebusiness will be showing what would appear to be the first Chinese-made telescopic crawler. EH Hassell is showing an 80t capacity Sennebogen tele crawler.

Second, there will be Chinese cranes on display from at least two vendors – Cranebusiness and UK firm Crowland. Its sales arm Universal is marketing a crawler and truck crane from Chinese heavyweights Zoomlion.

The occasion will be the UK’s first to have a good look at Chinese cranes.

Other confirmed crane exhibitors are:

German light crane manufacturer Boecker, which is exhibiting at SED for the first time. On display is the Aluminium trailer crane AHK 31/1500 PLC, which is the new top model of the AHK series. Also on show will be the junior series, which is the compact product line of Boecker’s construction lifts.

Ladybird Crane Sales is showing the redesigned self-ereccting tower crane Comedil CBR32 Plus, with a 32-metre jib. Also on the stand will be the small top-slewing tower crane- the CTT51 with a 40-metre jib. Also exhibiting is Irish self-erecting tower crane manufacturer Mantis Cranes and UK tower crane maker and importer Vanson Cranes. Construction equipment manufacturers Haulotte and JLG Industries have also signed up to exhibit.
