The 55t 655 HD duty cycle can be used in a wide range of heavy-duty tasks, with a dragline bucket or in foundation construction. The machine includes a double pin boom head as standard, for multiple reeving and easy accommodation of large lifting loads whether or not it is fitted with a diaphragm wall grab, leads or piping machinery. A single pin boom head may be used instead for operation with wide pulleys with special rope grooves. The pulley is designed for making changing grabs quick and simple. The lighter weight 655 HD is particularly suitable for dynamic dragline work in the extractive industry. It can be used with a grab, crane or wrecker’s ball or turned into a crawler crane. It can reach 56m with a jib.

Senenebogen will also showcase the 8130 EQ material handing machine, EQ is particularly well suited for use in port material handling and on the scrapyard as well as for logging. It has applications unloading ships to handysize-class vessels up to a depth of 8m and bears a maximum load of 10t. It uses balance technology and an electric motor to increase energy efficiency by 75%. The balance innovation allows the machine to remain consistently balanced in any situation.

In April, Sennebogen announced it was extending its product range for bauma 2013 with the new heavy duty, 130t class cycle crawler crane. The 6130 HD is designed for heavy-duty implementation in special underground engineering applications.

With a power rating to 708 kW and a robust design, Sennebogen says the machine is outstanding in demanding, dynamic implementation. The crane is made for operation with large diaphragm wall grabs, and for pipework and leader operation. The machine also works in the area of wet extraction with dragline bucket.

The 6130 HD is powered by a 570 kW CAT diesel engine as standard equipment. Optionally a more powerful variant with 708 kW is available for harsh implementation in special underground engineering operation. The hoist rope that is delivered in thicknesses of 34 mm or 36 mm, transmits the force of the two winches to where it is needed. Two winch variants with 25 kN or 30 kW hoisting force can be installed and enable high rope speeds.

The crane’s boom has been specially configured for dynamic use requirements. Simultaneously a slewing ring with a particularly strong design with large gearing ensure high torque and robust operation. This, Sennebogen says, ensures a long service life, even under high loads. As an additional innovation, the 6130 HD comes with a newly designed telescoping undercarriage.

Retracted, the undercarriage has a transport width that measures less than 4m. In use the machine has a comfortable 5.1m stabilizing width. With the help of the hydraulically adjustable A-frame, the 6130 HD can also independently ballast itself, reducing set up time.

Other features that suit the cranes heavy work usage include extremely wide, stable rope pulleys, which allow rope guidance of the available 34-mm and 36-mm rope and withstand even the highest stresses. In dragline bucket operation the 6130 HD is impressive with a newly designed fairlead in the lower boom section that ensures low-wear rope guidance and a long component service life.

MaXcab, the crane’s cab has a sliding door for easy entry and is equipped with the Sennebogen control system, Sencon, which enables the operator to read off, monitor and manage all machine parameters from a central location.
