The great and the good of the lifting and moving world, with a few exceptions, will assemble at the Messe München showground in early April for a highlight of the tradeshow calendar: Bauma 2025.
Manufacturers use the event as a launchpad to showcase new products to a global audience and, this year, it looks like there will be enough new metal on display to satisfy even the most fervent of crane spotters.
For those that have never attended Bauma before the show’s scale is immense – so comfortable shoes are a must if you want to get round all the stands!
The majority of the crane and specialised transportrelated stands are located outside in the FN, FM and FS (north, middle, and south) areas, although there is always a lot to see indoors, too.
To help you navigate your way around the show’s lifting and specialised transport exhibitors we’ve put together the following guide highlighting where many of the exhibitors are located and what they are displaying.
Of course, some manufacturers have kept some product details a secret until the show itself – so we will bring you news on these developments in future issues.
If you happens to see Cranes Today editor Christian Shelton or sales director Joe Woolerton at the show, please do say hello; we hope to see you there.
