South China see

Although its debut two years ago was quiet, ConExpo Asia has grown massively, and is probably the best chance to see China's three biggest manufacturers (XCMG, Sany and Changsha Zoomlion) in Asia until Bauma China in November 2008.

The list of crane manufacturers at the show, organised by the US Association of Equipment Manufacturers, does not stop there. Also showing are Chinese manufacturers Fushun Excavator Corp (crawlers), Beijing Jincheng, parent of part owner (with Tadano) of the BQ Tadano truck crane joint venture, Sichuan Changjiang (truck cranes, now owned by Terex), and Manitowoc Crane Group.

Cranes Today will be there too, on stand K137 of Cranes Today China partner Construction Machinery Technology Management magazine.
