Autec
Autec will display a range of joystick and pushbutton radio control devices for tower and bridge cranes.
The company says its Vega E pushbutton strips and the Sirio E joystick system have been improved to increase their simplicity and reliability.
Autec will also show its Pro-M range of proportional remote controls for hydraulic cranes, which can be supplied with an electro-hydraulic bank for installation on trucks fitted with manual controls only.
Hawe
Hawe’s Spanish subsidiary will show hydraulic solutions from Hawe Hydraulik for mobile cranes and lifting devices. A highlight will be the proportional directional spool valves for load-sensing control in three sizes with many functions integrated.
Controlled via a Hawe programmable logical valve control type PLVC and/or an HBC remote control, it is designed to ensure the easy operation of truck-mounted cranes.
HBC-radiomatic
HBC-radiomatic will present a process for interruption-free operation of radio control systems. The radiomatic AFM (automatic frequency management) – pictured – is claimed to save time and ensure relaxed working, and is designed for sites with high radio density.
Says HBC-radiomatic: ‘The new product enables interruption-free operation of radio control systems – a significant advantage for radio users in the construction sector. The simultaneous use of different radio systems for cranes, concrete pumps, and other construction machines often leads to interference if the same frequency was used by chance.’
If the frequency used by the HBC system is also used by another radio system, it is dynamically changed within fractions of a second.
Itowa
Itowa will show several new products including the ANM400 anemometer (below), which is programmed to activate luminous and acoustic signals should there be a high-speed wind risk.
Also on show will be the Combi-Beton analogue radio remote control for cranes and concrete pumps with three joysticks and two dual axis, which means it can operate with analogic or proportional signals. The system can detect if the transmitter is out of range, and disconnect the control if it is.
The company will also show a radio remote control for tower cranes, bridge cranes, concrete cranes, and truck loader cranes. The multi-frequency transmitter allows the user to choose between 70 channels without technicians or tools. The receiver has a scanning system that highlights the best free channel.
Other products on show will include:
- Electronic dynamometers with a bearing hook designed to eliminate the effects of side twisting.
- Electronic and electromechanical load limiters.
