The pumpkin weighed in at 661kg, smashing the previous European record. The pumpkin weigh-off was part of the annual Pumpkin Festival, held on Saturday 11th October at the Royal Victoria Country Park in Southampton, a fundraiser run by the Southampton branch of the Jubilee Sailing Trust.
