For heavy transport operations on public roads, TII’s flexible designs offer optimised vehicle solutions for transit through different states and efficient solutions for empty runs.
“We cover an unrivalled range of transportation tasks, whether on public roads or factory premises,” says sales manager Roland Fischer.
At ConExpo 2017, TII will present vehicles with hydraulically supported pendulum axles: Scheuerle HighwayTrailer Modular Extra Strong (MES), Scheuerle HighwayGiant PowerBooster (PB), Scheuerle SPMT Light and Scheuerle KAMAG K25 H Self-Propelled (SP).
The Scheuerle HighwayGiant PB is a dual-lane trailer that can be folded together on standard trucks for efficient mobilisation, removing the need for cost-intensive approval processes. The design not only allows different vehicle widths (4.8m, 5.4m and 6.0m), but also offers the possibility to safely widen the vehicle when under load.
This means different regulations across the US can be met for transit transport using just one vehicle.
The Scheuerle HighwayTrailer MES combines the requirements for transporting oversized loads as well as point loads on a single vehicle, allowing the owner to achieve an unprecedented range of transport assignments using just one modular vehicle. It allows configuration as a semitrailer for everyday loads as well as connecting with two platform trailers to accommodate long loads, such as a distribution column, containers or large carriers weighing up to 115t. This enables transport companies to expand their portfolio if required and use the HighwayTrailer MES in a semitrailer version for handling everyday orders.
The Scheuerle SPMT Light is a versatile solution for in-plant transportation. Available as a two or four-axle vehicle, the compact design guarantees optimum flexibility for smaller transport tasks. Payloads up to 220t are possible. On request, the SPMT Light is available with an emission-free electric drive, which Scheuerle introduced to the world market in 2016.
The Scheuerle KAMAG K25 H SP is a tried and tested all-rounder from the area of self-propelled modular transporters. The KAMAG K25 H SP and SPE are available in three, four or six-axle designs, providing a cost-effective addition that allows the realisation of self-propelled transport units with existing K25 H vehicles.
Their advantage lies not only in the low and robust construction, but also in the sophisticated control technology.
