Improvements to Entecon’s Easishift clamshell buckets for loader cranes are designed to give longer life and reduce maintenance downtime. Cutting edges on the reversible bolt-on blades feature high tensile boron for durability. Other changes include Oilite bearings, a stronger tiebar, and an improved hydraulic ram arrangement. Wide opening jaws to 1850mm and uniform closing are claimed to be better for cleaning up in typical applications such as cable laying where the bucket can get right into the angle of a curb. Distortion is minimised by heavy gauge gusset plates in each section.
Widths of 480mm, 800mm and 1120mm give capacities of 0.2m3, 0.35m3 and 0.5m3 respectively.
