As a crane operator, my experience is that the computer is the least reliable component in the crane, or during the entire lift cycle. In the last three years I have had at least five times that the units have “frozen” or malfunctioned during lifts. There has not been a injury but there was nearly a turn-over when the swing and boom controls failed. What I reccomend is data loggers on all lifts with a override key retained.
