15 February 2008Teams of students will build construction machines that must accomplish lifting and moving tasks at the AEM's stand (L3224) as part of the AEM's Construction Challenge.
The challenge, aimed at raising the profile of construction among young people, will give out scholarships and other prizes to winners.
At the show, AEM is hosting global technical and statistics meetings to help members deal with worldwide technical trade barriers and to provide quality international market data for the U.S., European Union countries, Japan and Pacific Rim countries. The events are the Joint Technical Liaison Committee (JTLM), the International Crane Technical Liaison Committee and the Intercontinental Statistical Committee.
