15 February 2008Two new seats for construction machinery are on show. Each has a different means of support.
The MSG95EAC/742 seat has an air suspension with electronically-controlled active system for reducing vibrations. Sensors on the upper part of the suspension monitor its position and control a valve. The MSG95GL/741 has a push-pull valve and integrated compressor. The seat has a low-frequency suspension with manual weight adjustment. Also on show is a vibration dosimeter to attach to the seats to measure vibrations and alert the driver if they reach critical levels.
