The new location is a six-minute taxi drive from the Las Vegas Convention Centre, at the junction of Sahara Avenue and Las Vagas Boulevard, close to Circus Circus. Dedicated shuttles and the monorail will allow visitors to get between the locations: there will undoubtedly still be plenty of relevant exhibitors in the halls, as well as the larger outside exhibits in the new venue.

The new ‘Festival Grounds’ will replace the space lost in the Las Vegas Convention Center’s Gold Lot due to an impending expansion to the facility.

“AEM is very excited about expanding the show footprint of ConExpo,” said Dana Wuesthoff vice president of exhibitions and event services for show organiser the AEM. “In the meantime, AEM’s ConExpo show team is currently working with show planning committees to develop a comprehensive plan to ensure coordination between the convention centre and the Festival Grounds.”

The Festival Grounds will feature indoor and outdoor exhibits and show services to support ConExpo exhibitors and attendees. It will be the outdoor space for all lifting equipment, including cranes and aerial work platforms. Alongside these, will be earth moving and material handling, hauling, and underground construction equipment.

“We see the addition of the Festival Grounds as a positive solution to the ever-increasing need for event space, and we are committed to working on the behalf of exhibitors for the success of ConExpo 2020," said ConExpo 2020 show chair and vice president of marketing for Superior Industries Mary Erholtz.
