The Ritchie Brothers auction in Australia dispersed the assets of Queensland’s Skelton Transportation and New South Wales’ Howards Haulage. There were a total of nine late-model cranes included in the sale, in Yatala, Brisbane, on June 24-25.
80t AT sells for $1.3m in Australia
As an indication of the extreme nature of crane demand, a used 2008 Grove 80t capacity all terrain crane has sold for a whopping USD 1.3m at an unreserved auction in Australia. A 2004 Grove 100t-capacity AT sold for the same price.
