
BKL is adding 90 new cranes to its fleet. The orders comprise a mix of mobile and tower cranes.
With regards to mobile cranes, it is investing in 25 new Liebherr mobile cranes which will expand its fleet at nine different locations. This includes two Liebherr LTM 1400-6.1s, one of which was displayed in BKL livery on the Liebherr stand at the Bauma 2025.
This six-axle, 400-tonne crane has a maximum radius of 96 metres, a 70 metre telescopic boom, a Y-telescopic boom guying system, and a maximum lifting height of 120 metres.

With regards to tower cranes, BKL has bought 65 new models. This includes the new TLS 1100 50T made by Saez. It has a maximum load capacity of 50 tonnes and can lift nearly 11 tonnes at its maximum radius of 86 metres.
BKL is purchasing five additional heavy-duty cranes in the 1,000-tonne-metre class.
When it comes to top-slewing tower cranes the order includes several Liebherr 172 EC-Bs. In the bottom-slewing segment the orders comprises the BKL System Cattaneo CM 301 roofers’ crane, plus Liebherr K-series cranes including the 91 K, 61 K, and 43 K, as well as Liebherr 81 K.1 and 125 K fast erectors.
The new cranes are expanding BKL’s portfolio of over 1,000 as well as replacing cranes that have been sold.
