The company says: "The four-axle Panther low-loader in 1 + 3 combination is the result of consistent further development of the Panther series according to the market’s requirements. "These are mostly payload optimised vehicles combined with easy handling for the construction industry."

The one-axle dolly and the threeaxle rear running gear represent the perfect combination for an optimum load distribution in the low-bed, even in extended version, with a payload of approximately 50t.

The trailer combination shown will include a dolly, which is fi rmly fi xed to the gooseneck. The loading process of construction machinery can be effected via hydraulic rear ramps and a hydraulically liftable low-bed. This is a clear advantage in narrow building lots, the company says.

Further advantages include the possibility for 2 + 3 or 2 + 4 combinations to get a comparable payload.

In addition, the fi fth-wheel load of the gooseneck can be regulated via keypad from 17.5 t to 25 t, making the trailer suitable for 3- axle and four-axle trucks at the same time.

The company says that stepless fi fth-wheel load adjustment can guarantee an optimum compensation with the dolly axle and the dolly can even be lifted in loaded condition. The drive-over height of the running gear is only 780mm in lowered position. The low-bed is designed in such ways that a telescoping by 1.5 m can be carried out with full payload.

Other benefi ts also include one version of the Panther 1 + 3 combination that has been developed for construction machinery of the industrial sector.

With this variation, the trailer has a telescoping fl atbed up to 13m combined with a very low loading height of only 300mm ,as well as a constant rear excavator recess. The dolly can also be detached at the connection with the low-bed. During the loading process of construction vehicles this disconnection point is activated and the compensating gooseneck together with the fi xed dolly are separated from the low-bed.

The four-axle semi low-loader with the proven Doll friction steered axle is extendible and equipped with a hydraulic double ramp, a rear excavator recess and a wheel recesses between the fi rst and second axle.

One special feature are drive-on ramps on each side of the low-bed, which make the loading process much easier, the company says. Due to the low dead weight this trailer also has a payload of approximately 46t.

In addition, the trailer type is robust and universally applicable because it contains the equipment with all necessary components, such as a comprehensive Doll lashing package, extensions, intermediate table, hydraulic lateral displacement of the double ramps and side wall on the fi fth-wheel load.

The outer frame has suffi cient twist locks for the transportation of different ISO containers. The excellent manufacturing quality ensures the reliability and longevity of the semi low-loader, the company says.
