As the name implies, the show was the first organised by the
US Association of Equipment Manufacturers. It was the first US-organised construction equipment show in China in recent memory, and faced a crowded market. The biannual Beijing BICES show, next held in October 2007, is organised partly by the Chinese Construction Machinery Association. The Shanghai Bauma China, next scheduled for 21-24 November,
is organised by the Munich, Germany Trade Fairs company.
