The European Commission authorised the payment of state aid of Dm27.8m ($15m) to special crane manufacturer Kranbau Koethen GmbH to help it get out of financial difficulty.
Kranbau Koethen was founded in 1997 from one of the state-run enterprises in the former German Democratic Republic, Foerderanlagen-und Kranbau Koethen GmbH. The decision was announced in December.
